  • Integrated 5 disparate teams into one cohesive organization, defining and implementing operating models that will increase total output globally
  • Responsible for ensuring platform readiness for over 8,000 applications, comprised of both internally developed and third party applications
  • Built strategic relationships with internal development teams, allowing the team to establish project plans for Windows 7/Citrix application readiness of all 8,000 applications within 18 months
  • Established a managed service model for application streaming creation activities with an outside vendor, adopting a “pay-per-drink” model, reducing time-to-market whilst simultaneously reducing internal costs
  • Working with internal development teams, developed a suite of tools, that collect client, device, and application feeds, then generate user profiles and priority matrices critical to Windows 7/Citrix/VMware migration plans

  • Managed a full-suite of third-party application platforms built in support of our global virtual desktop solutions (Citrix, VMware, AppSense, ThinPrint, Wyse, EG, ThinApp), across over 3,000 servers
  • Drove negotiations with several key vendors, resulting in over $24 million dollars in cost avoidance on license and support costs
  • Increased platform availability, by instituting a globally consistent support model, coupled with consistent configuration standards, which resulted in a ~50% reduction in support incidents across the platform
  • Achieved over $3 million dollars in infrastructure cost saves through an aggressive approach to virtualize servers used to support Citrix desktop solutions
  • Delivered an increase of nearly $13 million dollars in internal chargebacks through the establishment of focused asset tracking for VMware hosted desktops
